The mission of the Multnomah County Diabetes Coalition (MCDC) is to improve the health of all people in Multnomah County, with special emphasis on diabetes, through policy, awareness, prevention, and treatment that is culturally appropriate and accessible.
The Multnomah County Diabetes Coalition (MCDC) is working to accomplish our mission in our local communities by raising diabetes awareness, promoting diabetes prevention and treatment options and opportunities, and advocating for necessary public health and diabetes-related policy changes.

Coalition members include community members and representatives from a variety of chronic disease-related health and social service agencies and organizations in the county. Members meet monthly to exchange information, coordinate ongoing activities, and address current and local diabetes-related issues.

This website was created to link health providers and community members to diabetes-related information, as well as diabetes-related prevention, clinical, and social services available in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area.
